Having commenced a phased opening in 2023 with four Padel tennis courts and two tennis courts, the Apes Hill Racquet Centre will feature an additional four Padel tennis courts and a premium lounge upon completion. The courts have been outfitted with Agile Turf infilled with sand, which is the most popular and prestigious tennis surface in the Caribbean, offering guests a unique and refined sporting experience.

Our LUX Tennis experience at Apes Hill is led by one of Barbados’ most successful Davis Cup players and former professional tennis player Haydn Lewis. With experience coaching a player at the US Open, one of the highlights for Haydn is building relationships with members and guests over an extended period to impart his knowledge of the game. 

Throughout the year, Haydn is on hand to provide private and group coaching as well as host fun sessions, clinics and tournaments geared towards community engagement. He stands ready to guide both avid and leisure players through these personalised coaching sessions which have been expertly designed to unlock their full potential and ultimately elevate their game.
