Here at Apes Hill, we provide awe-inspiring avenues for players of all ages and skill levels to enhance their skills, in a breathtaking venue with world class facilities. And so, we have partnered with LUX, to engage one of their master coaches, Haydn Lewis, to deliver expert guidance through exclusive onsite lessons. 

One of Barbados’ most successful Davis Cup players and former professional tennis player Haydn Lewis heads up the LUX Tennis coaching experience at Apes Hill. With a wealth of experience coaching competitive players globally, his coaching expertise extends as far as the US Open, a testament to his skills and knowledge. We also have access to many well-known tennis stars such as Martina Hingis, with the option to host tennis camps for our members and guests.

Apes Hill Barbados features eight state-of-the-art padel tennis courts and two tennis courts, which have been outfitted with AGILE, synthetic Tiger Turf grass infilled with sand- the most popular and prestigious tennis surface in the Caribbean. Members and guests have full access to these floodlit courts from morning until night and to the coaching services with ATP professionals such as Haydn, to really level up on the tennis and padel tennis courts. 

Whether guests prefer a private one-on-one lesson, a group session led by Haydn who is not only an experienced ATP/WTA-level coach but also a LUX Tennis Director and former ATP World Number #583 or participation in dynamic clinics, games, exhibitions, or tournaments, LUX Tennis and Apes Hill Barbados has all tennis and padel needs covered. 

From little tots to adults, we offer private one on one sessions, pair up with a friend to learn the game together, group tuition or parties.  We also host a number of clinics, tournaments and more social “sip and serve” sessions to get everyone involved. 

Our proshop is stocked with your favourite luxury sporting brands as well as tennis and padel tennis equipment to ensure that you look and play your best.
