Apes Hill has been recognised by GOLF Magazine in its 2026 Top 100 Golf Resorts in the World list, reinforcing its standing as one of the Caribbean's most accomplished golf destinations.
The feature places Apes Hill's Championship 18-hole course among an elite global collection, drawn up by the staff of GOLF and spanning six continents. Apes Hill appears in the Mexico, The Americas and Caribbean region as a new entry, listed alongside neighbouring Barbados resort Sandy Lane and celebrated destinations across the Dominican Republic, Mexico and beyond.
The recognition extends to where guests stay. In a separate feature on the best lodging across the Top 100, GOLF’s editors selected just five resorts worldwide, with Apes Hill among them. They singled out the villas for their private pools and for living spaces that open fully to the island breeze.
GOLF highlights Apes Hill's setting 1,000 feet above sea level, across 475 acres of striking landscape, with deep winding gullies, coral rock formations and rare sand dunes. The article notes the Scotland District, an ancient underwater mountain range visible above sea level, as a defining feature of the resort's dramatic terrain.
