Just over ten minutes from Apes Hill, Fairmount Royal Pavilion is a pleasant and easy drive.

How do you get to the beach?

Our Guest Experience Team can order you a taxi to take you to and from the beach, or you can opt to drive.

Are there dining facilities at the beach?

Yes, from loaded hummus to chicken wings, burgers and classic salads, the Fairmont Beach Club serves delicious beach snacks and cocktails. Dine in or opt to have it served straight to your sunbed. Access to other restaurants is subject to availability.

Are there sun loungers on the beach?

Apes Hill guests have access to complementary loungers and umbrellas to provide shade.

Can I do water sports/activities?

Absolutely: there are a wide variety of water sports to enjoy. Equipment can be rented from Fairmount Royal Pavilion on a space available basis.

What are the hours for beach access at the resort?

The beach opens daily from 10am to 5pm - ideal for both a morning dip or a late afternoon swim.

Is the beach suitable for children and families?

You bet. From grandparents to babies, nobody gets left behind and everyone is welcome.

Are beach towels provided?

Whilst comfortable loungers are provided, we’re afraid towels aren’t - so be sure to remember your own. Don’t forget to pack your suntan cream too!
