Apes Hill ranked among the Caribbean’s must-play golf courses

We are pleased to be featured in USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, with Apes Hill ranked No. 9 for Best Caribbean Golf Course in 2026.

The USA TODAY 10Best editors and readers recognise Apes Hill as one of the region’s standout places to play, highlighting its elevated setting, championship design and relaxed island character.

 

Set 1,000 feet above sea level in St. James, Barbados, the Ron Kirby–designed course plays through rolling terrain with sweeping coastal views. The feature notes how the course pairs strategic interest with a sense of ease, creating a round that is as enjoyable as it is memorable.
