Apes Hill named among the Top 100 Best Golf Resorts in the World

Curated and ranked by an expert panel, the annual list assesses golf resorts worldwide based on a balanced set of criteria designed to appeal to both golfers and non-golfers. While golf course quality remains central to the rankings, equal consideration is given to accommodation, non-golf amenities and setting, rewarding resorts that offer a well-rounded and considered experience.

 

Apes Hill is recognised for its Championship 18-hole course, designed by the late Ron Kirby, which is described as a compelling journey through Barbados’ natural terrain. Routed over ravines and between rocky outcrops, ancient trees and native fauna, the course is praised for how sensitively it incorporates the landscape, alongside its immaculate presentation.

The feature also highlights Apes Hill’s private villa accommodation, noting that non-members can stay in three-bedroom villas, each with its own garden and 30-foot private pool overlooking the course, offering privacy and comfort in a naturally elevated setting.

Additional facilities referenced include Padel courts, a fitness centre, floodlit tennis and the resort’s newly introduced beach club, allowing guests to balance time on the fairways with moments of relaxation by the sea.
