Little Apes Wins Caribbean’s Best 9-Hole Golf Course at the 2025 World Golf Awards

Apes Hill Barbados is celebrating another honoured golfing milestone, with Little Apes named Caribbean’s Best 9-Hole Golf Course at the 2025 World Golf Awards. This prestigious accolade recognises the par-3 course as one of the region’s most enjoyable and innovative short-game experiences, and marks another moment of international recognition for Apes Hill’s growing golfing legacy.

Designed by legendary architect Ron Kirby, Little Apes is set within our 475-acre landscape, offering a fun, scenic and family-friendly course where golfers of all ages can share the game. With holes ranging from 95 to 145 yards, players can walk the layout in under an hour, enjoying sweeping views across the island and the Caribbean Sea.

Inspired by iconic holes from around the world, the course blends playfulness with thoughtful design, an approach that reflects Apes Hill’s philosophy of golf at a higher level, but always down-to-earth.

As Director of Golf Jody Addison shared, Little Apes celebrates “an enjoyable and memorable golfing experience where you can feel at home no matter your skill level, age, or how long you have been playing.”

Little Apes has quickly become a favourite among our members and their families, with all players from juniors to seasoned pros fine-tuning their short game on the course.
