Glenn J. Chamandy, Canadian businessman and avid golfer, is the primary shareholder of Apes Hill (Barbados) Inc.
A visitor to Barbados for more than 20 years, his connection to the island and its people inspired his investment in Apes Hill.
“My mission is to develop a reimagined golf community where exceptional golf sits alongside sustainable practices, all within the island’s remarkable terrain. With its gullies, views of both the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean, I felt this land had the potential to create the finest golfing experience in the region. I am delighted to be part of it, as I truly love the island and its people.”

Sustainability is central to Apes Hill, with every detail designed to protect and enhance the environment. Electric vehicle and golf cart charging points make it easy to choose greener transport, while more than 60 acres are dedicated to farming.
Our resort produces fresh herbs, edible flowers and fruit for on-site restaurants, supported by beehives and vegetable gardens. This commitment ensures that the landscape not only provides beauty but also supports life and nourishment.
